love the center tree and the feel of it with the shack and bak trees (are you sure this was not in Mims) jk
and I assume you are digging in the archives – and I think i told you this before – but had a friend who lived in Titusville and she drove to Christmas, Fla to mail her xmas cards each year 🙂
If you get up to Orlando, you ought to run over to Christmas and check it out. I did a post on it a couple of years ago. Have a wonderful week. We’ve got the cold weather back. This is unusual for here (so they tell me)! 😬
That’s the thing about Florida. No real seasons. But this was actually taken in the summer in a little town east of Orlando Florida called Christmas! Go figure. 😁
This photo is amazing with the bright green against the cloudy sky. We are so jealous that’s what it looked like at Christmas. It is snowing here and all the trees are brown and grey, except our holly trees! So, we just read your reply to Comedy Plus after writing that. Fooled us, that’s for sure! Oh, Janet, since I knew where this was it never occurred to me that the town name of Christmas would be mistaken for the holiday! But that’s only logical! That’s one on me. I need to pay more attention to what I’m doing! 🤣🎄🙀😹
We got snow here last night. Not like the last time but enough to keep us in for probably a couple more days. Sigh! Come to north Georgia they said. It barely snows and doesn’t last they said. Double sigh 😔 😾😂
What a peaceful looking place!
Thanks, Cindy. It was almost like an outdoor historical museum. It was fun to walk around and visit the buildings and stuff.

Heehee! I had to look up Mims! Yep, I’ve got so many Florida photos I’ve not shared! I never did do that — mail Christmas cards from Christmas! LOL!
I guess they postmarked the cards as “christmas”
and Mims might be one of the hickest places I have visited
What a lovely view — reminds me of the old Acadian homes in south Louisiana!
Thanks, Becca! I can see that. Christmas is just east of Orlando! 🙂
Awesome capture – so peaceful and serene and the tree is so grand!
Thanks so much, Dahlia! It’s a fun and interesting place!
South FL is so crowded it’s hard to believe such serene places still exist. It’s wonderful to see!!

Up there, it seems strange, there are actually hills too!! It always takes me by surprise.
Great shot with a great mood. Thank you and greetings.
Thanks, Cecilia, for your visit and compliment! Have a wonderful week! 😺
Christmas. Looks like our summer. Oh wait, there really isn’t much winter in Florida. Great shot.
Have a fabulous day. ♥

Lovely quiet place.
Thanks, Karen! It’s also an historic pioneer village! 😀
Linda, this is a really beautiful image! Trees are a favorite of mine. ❤
Thanks, Amber! All the different shapes, sizes, and types of trees are amazing!
Sorry, Amberly! I hate it when I mistype someone’s name.
Lovely. That timber cabin adds a lot of character to the photo. And the tree is a beauty.
Thanks so much, LD. One of these days I hope to get back to picture taking and posting! It’s been a while.
