From Paula at Lost in Translation: This time the theme is SHAPE. Shape is a great theme for any photo challenge, but I think it lends itself best for a monochrome interpretation.
The Daily Post: Have some fun with perspective and show just how big, or little, the world can seem.
This week is Letter H – Topic for this week is Happy.
This picture is of me with my first dog, Happy. My Dad gave him to me when I was three years old. He passed away at the age 10 of cancer (I was 13). He was my best friend — we grew up together! And he made me very happy!
This picture was taken on our wedding day shortly after the ceremony. Pictured in the background is the Mesa, Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of the happiest days of my life!
Nancy Merrill Photography challenges on her Photo a Week Challenge: A PHOTO OR TWO (OR THREE OR…) OF THINGS THAT MEAN FALL TO YOU.
Oh, dear. I knew it was too good to be true. Can you see it? Look close! It’s right in my front yard. It’s coming and I’m not ready. It’s coming and there’s nothing I can do about it! I really find it hard to believe that we’re already ending summer and beginning autumn. Living here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I am anxiously waiting to see what our fall foliage will look like come the middle of October. Hopefully, I’ll be posting autumn leaves again in a prettier format!
See the red leaves among the green? The leaves are already starting to turn. Fall followed by cold weather can’t be long away. I might have mentioned on previous occasions that I’m not a fan of the cold. But one good thing — I do love the fall colors and we’re right in the heart of it come October!
My front yard!
The Daily Post says: This week, share with us a layered image of your own. The topic is wide open, as long as you focus on the interplay of depth, density, and texture (or just choose one of these elements if you’d like).
