From Paula at Lost in Translation: This time the theme is SHAPE. Shape is a great theme for any photo challenge, but I think it lends itself best for a monochrome interpretation.
😀 So great to have you contribute, Linda. I am staring at your light fixtures most – fascinating shape, but I love the world of shrooms and herbs. Beautiful formations all of them. Thank you so much.
Thanks, Paula! It’s about time, I say! They were certainly odd ceiling light fixtures. I practically had to lay on the floor at the eye doctor’s office to get that picture! 😆 And those little shrooms were just kind of weird looking — not at all pretty in person! 😉 Have a great rest of the week!
Hi Sid! Thanks a bunch. I must admit, though, these little shrooms were not that pretty in person! Not that shrooms are pretty — but some are — okay, I’m done! Have a wonderful rest of the week! 😀
Hi Linda! I like mushrooms. They belong the calm colours of the earth and of the forest, or the brilliant reds and oranges of the autumn sun ❤
And they are pretty delicious with pappardelle 😛
Ciao
Sid
Magnificent natural and manmade shapes, dear Linda! They all look so beautiful and classic in b/w.Incredible symmetry displayed in your fixture image and in the lovely plants 🙂 xxx
Thanks, Rosa! I’ve not seen any like them before or since. Kind of unusual and, in reality, not very photogenic in my book! The black and white flatters them! 🤣

I hear ya, Sid! The right ones can add so much to a recipe! And it’s true, some are really pretty! 😀
Interesting mushrooms.
Interesting for sure! I thought they were quite unusual. I’ve no idea what kind they might be!
Enjoyed your choices of subject, nicely done.
Thanks, Sally! 😀

That picture of the mushrooms is awesome. When I first looked I couldn’t even tell those were mushrooms.
