From Paula at Lost in Translation: This time the theme is SHAPE. Shape is a great theme for any photo challenge, but I think it lends itself best for a monochrome interpretation.

Black & White Sunday – Traces of the Past
Paula at Lost in Translation is hosting Black & White Sunday: Traces of the Past. I decided to post this one as it brought back happy memories. Summer of 1986, the last time I went horseback riding. It was at a women’s retreat outside of Dallas, Tx. Way too long ago! I have always had a love for horses. I think they’re amazing creatures.

Sunday Selfies Blog Hop #88 and Black and White Sunday: One
Janet, over at The Cat on My Head, hosts the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. Feel free to “hop” in! This is my “biggest” boy, Freckles. He’s trying to sleep off his extra weight. This was taken with my iPhone 5 at our old house , just before painting the patio floor. No cats were painted in the process!
And Paula over at Lost in Translation is asking for “One” in black and white. So, this is Freckles in black and white — well, almost! When I was working on it, for some reason I just couldn’t eliminate all the eye color! Sorry, Paula! Hope it’s “passable” for your challenge!
Cee’s Black & White Challenge: Seating / Paula’s Black & White Sunday
I’ve got a two-fer this time. Since I don’t have time to post with my usual joie de vivre, I must make the most of it! All photos were taken with my iPhone5 and converted to black and white in Fotor.
From Cee we have: You can have any type of seating you desire. Any where from chairs, benches, sofas, patio seating, picnic tables, car seats, swings. Use your imagination and have fun.
From Paula we have: Show me your black and white photos regardless of the theme.

Black & White Sunday
People don’t want to go to the dump and have a picnic, they want to go out to a beautiful place and enjoy their day. And so I think our job is to try to take the environment, take what the good Lord has given us, and expand upon it or enhance it, without destroying it. [Jack Nicklaus]
