Nurturing Thursday – Obstacles

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken with my iPhone5 while we were still in Florida. The picture itself has been used previously but I saw this quote and put it with the photo.

There is no obstacle too great, no challenge too difficult, if we have FAITH

The photo is such a perfect fit for the quote. Sometimes life can feel as though a tree has sprouted on the railway track of life.

  9. LOL … a new type of engineer must have thought of that road. You put a smile on my face with that photo. I’m familair with the quote, Linda. A friend sent it to me in an email. It’s perfect for us to read and ponder upon. You matched it well with your photograph. Love it ….

    • Thank you so much, Issy, for your visit and kind words. I’m so glad I was able to make you smile with this. I still stare at the photo (I made it an 8×10 and put it on my wall – LOL) contemplating how long it took for the trees to take over those tracks! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! πŸ˜€ ❀

      • You right … I thought it was built around those tracks but perhaps it was the trees that grew. A great many places in Florida that are abandoned cause these types of issues. Thank goodness a train didn’t decide to follow them. LOL

wow – what a cool photo – if only the railroad folks of yesteryear could imagine this = a tree right through their well laid tracks.
If ever a photo showed the way times are a changing – this one is truly it!
and also it paired so well with the quote.
this photo has so many branches – get it??

  11. Thanks, Y! I love this photo (even if I did take it myself) if for no other reason than it is so unusual! I love your thoughts on it! It definitely shows how times are changing! πŸ˜€

  12. What an amazing photo!

  13. Florida offcourse is the best place in world. I have written a post on how a girl falls in love with a fit in Tampa. Fascinating love story.
