    Linda, that’s a double double flower, but I’ve never seen one like it. I like the way it seems to be hanging in mid air. The post processing app makes me think that it got caught in a tornado, and still was strutting its beauty. Happy Photo Challenge.

      Thanks, Sally! It’s a bloom on a small tree at the side of our house. I can’t for the life of me remember what kind. Maybe my second one was subconscious as we’re now in hurricane season here! 😆

    THESE PHOTOS ARE GORGEOUS WITH THE VIBRANT COLORS OF THIS FLOWER. LOVE THE EFFECT ON THE SECOND ONE. WHAT FLOWER IS THIS? I DON’T RECOGNIZE IT.
