Cee says: We are on to a new series which I am calling Geometry. This week our topic will be things with straight lines. These items can be found on man made objects or in nature. Have fun and be as creative as you like.
Well I’ll be! Here you are NOW in my reader, Linda!!! This photo is SO cool which brings longing to me how I wish I were by the ocean. Have a Great Evening! Love, Amy
I should know if this is true or not but someone once told me that Lake Apopka is the largest lake in Central Florida. It is pretty big! A little over 20 years ago it was a “dead” lake. Towns around pooled their resources and brought it back to life. It’s gorgeous now!
I don’t know what all they did. I remember when it was posted no fishing, swimming or boating. Plants and fish could not survive in the lake. It was just icky. They worked on it but I don’t know what they did. There are now plants, fish, turtles, birds, and LOTS of gators! Took a long time and I’m sure lots of money, work and effort but it has paid off! 🙂

Thanks, Amy! I wish I was by the ocean, too! This is Apopka Lake which is just a few blocks from my house! 🙂
I thought it was the ocean. It’s sure big enough. I live near Lake Erie. And that is sure big enough too. Love, Amy

How did you bring back a dead lake? The thought boggles my mind! Is it a fresh water lake being in Florida? Just wow!
