Nurturing Thursday – Obstacles

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken with my iPhone5 while we were still in Florida. The picture itself has been used previously but I saw this quote and put it with the photo.

There is no obstacle too great, no challenge too difficult, if we have FAITH
(Gordon B. Hinckley)

Nurturing Thursday – Choosing Our Path

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken last summer using my iPhone5. This is the road I live on!

By choosing our path,
we choose our
destination

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken last month using my iPhone5 while out and about running errands.

Even if you cannot always see that
silver lining on your clouds,
GOD CAN,
For He is the very source
of the light you seek

Nurturing Thursday

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken in November 2015 atop Brasstown Bald Mountain in North Georgia. This mountain is the highest point in Georgia at 4,783 feet.  We visited here while up here seeking our new abode. This quote is a good one for me when I think back on that move!

Nurturing Thursday

Youth

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind.
We grow old only by deserting our ideals.
You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt;
As young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear;
As young as your hope, as old as your despair.

– Samuel Ullman

Francis of Assisi quote

Words by Francis of Assisi
“Remember that when you leave this earth
you can take nothing of what you have received,
but only what you have given: a full heart,
enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice, and courage”
