Because of Him

For Easter 2018, watch the short video “Because of Him” and ponder what has happened because of the Savior. (See Mormon.org/video/because-of-him.)

Check out this beautiful video from Vocal Point that testifies of Christ’s love and life, “In Christ Alone.”

For all my friends who celebrate, have a blessed Easter. For all others, please enjoy and feel free to check out what it’s all about! ❤

Nurturing Thursday – Obstacles

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken with my iPhone5 while we were still in Florida. The picture itself has been used previously but I saw this quote and put it with the photo.

There is no obstacle too great, no challenge too difficult, if we have FAITH

The Prince of Peace: Find Lasting Peace Through Jesus Christ

Find peace in a troubled world by learning more of Jesus Christ. This Easter season, learn principles of peace from the #PRINCEofPEACE.

More than 2,000 years after Isaiah called Him the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ is still our key to peace. To learn more of the different principles of peace, click on each heading below.

Peace through Faith

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.”
—Mark 5:36

Peace through God’s Word

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
—Matthew 4:4

Peace through Compassion

“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.”
—Matthew 14:14

Peace through Gratitude

“And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.”
—John 11:41

Peace through Prayer

“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
—Matthew 21:22

Peace through Forgiveness

“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.”
—Luke 6:37

Peace through Repentance

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
—Isaiah 1:18

Peace through Hope

“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. . . . For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
—1 Corinthians 15:19, 22

Wishing you and yours a very blessed Easter season.

Nurturing Thursday

Becca at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” hosts this challenge each Thursday. I put this together as my contribution. The photo was taken in November 2015 atop Brasstown Bald Mountain in North Georgia. This mountain is the highest point in Georgia at 4,783 feet.  We visited here while up here seeking our new abode. This quote is a good one for me when I think back on that move!
