That’s a beautiful house! Yes, the girl in the window is a little creepy, in a mysterious sort of way. Looks like a great setting for a mystery novel π

Have a great week!
Thanks, Amanda. My friend and I went for a walk when I went back home for a visit this summer. I love the old majestic homes along this street. I just happened to look up and couldn’t believe my eyes! LOL!
Definitely a doll — a creepy doll from a distance like that! A bit of a shock! Funny thing is, my friend who has lived in that town all of her life said she had never noticed it before!
Thanks, Yvette! The homes on this street are amazing! If it wasn’t so freakin’ cold there, I’d drag hubby back there to live! LOL! He panicked when I said that but then realized there’s no way I’d head back to that ice cold part of the country! π
Oh my! What a shot! The first time I looked I was too distracted by the decorative portico to even notice the creepy doll staring out the window. What a fantastic photo for so many story prompts.
Well work has its place and I think it has other rewards (beside the moola) and so just “be” whee you are – ha
And I had a huge work project that kicked my arse a bit – have one more starting Tuesday but this one is half the workload or should be if I can keep it that way – ha
I have a couple of dolls like that at home, my younger brother hates them don’t know why, im tempted to put one in the window now ready for when he comes home for Christmas hehe.
I want to know who that little girl is in the window too. Kind of creepy. Otherworldly kind of way.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. β₯
It’s actually some kind of doll. But VERY creepy! And totally unexpected.
I did not notice that until I read the comments. Ha. Creepy! But cool house
That street is filled with old majestic homes and the old Victorians! π
Comedy Plus — indeed creepy! Linda, reminds me of Hitchcock lol
Very Hitchcockian! LOL! Yes, I sometimes make up my own words! π

Lovely work.
Thanks, rabirius! At first, I thought my eyes deceived me! LOL!
Maybe they still do. π
No, but the photo is really wonderful.
heehee! Next visit to family, I’ll have to check it out and see if “she” is still there! π
oh my that is beyond charming!!
Heehee! Thanks, Caren! Have a great weekend! π
The perfect house for a Halloween story. The doll in the window popped out at me immediately. Mmmm … I wonder why? Great photograph π
So true. I think it’s just there all the time. I was there in June!
Beautiful house

Oh my goodness! My imagination is running wild, thinking of what that girl in the window is all about! :o)
Haha! Shades of Hitchcock, right? π€£
That definitely made me curious! I’m thinking the girl is more like a doll?

Funny how when we see things every day we donβt see them as well.
Linda that shot is awesome. Eerie, haunting, I love it.
Thanks so much, Ryan, for your visit and comment! Have a fabulous weekend! π
this was a lot of fun Linda – the comments and picture
Hitchcockian! good word
and wonder the history – this home is still in good condition too

yes – it is a gift to not have to endure such frigidness – whew……
Oh my! What a shot! The first time I looked I was too distracted by the decorative portico to even notice the creepy doll staring out the window. What a fantastic photo for so many story prompts.
LOL! Isn’t that the truth! The house is wonderful in its own way but that doll in the window gives a whole new meaning to creepy! π
I love the top story shingles/siding. It adds some whimsy to a beautify house. I would lose the creepy doll, though
It’s a beautiful old house. But I’m willing to guess that someone is a big Hitchcock fan! LOL!
haha!! it’s wonderful even the creepy doll!
Well, yeah. I am a Hitchcock fan but that threw me for a loop! π
This picture looks it was taken from a mystery movie. Creepy but awesome!
So very true! The funny thing is that my friend I was with has always lived in that town and had never seen it before! LOL!
Just saying hello – hope you are enjoying a nice pause….

xxoo
Thanks! I would be if I wasnβt working so hard! π
I miss blogging so Iβm working on a compromise! π€π»

Well, good luck with your project! ππ
Thanks and talk to you soon my friend – and good luck with your work (and I know your fur babies are there to keep you company)
Admiring the roof and then saw the doll! Like a scene from a horror movie – but you should have gone back at dusk. I dare you. π
Bwahahahaha! Shades of Alfred Hitchcock! What do you mean, go back at dusk? I may be crazy but I’m not insane! π π
I have a couple of dolls like that at home, my younger brother hates them don’t know why, im tempted to put one in the window now ready for when he comes home for Christmas hehe.
I think that would be hilarious to get his reaction! LOL! π
