I decided to combine Nancy’s A Photo a Week Challenge of Water and Becky’s In the Pink September Challenge.
A lady and her dog cooling off (Meeks Park, Blairsville, GA)
In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness (Winter Garden, FL)
Air Boat on Lake Apopka (Winter Garden, FL)
These are all so stunning, but the last one is my favorite. So peaceful, and the colors are amazing. Hugs, Janet
Thanks, Janet! I pulled that last one from my Florida archives. I had won a photo contest with this one. And this was my old iPhone5! 😁
I agree!
Linda – the airboat photo looks like they are in the clouds! so surreal and wonderful – but the pink water might be a top picture for #inthepink – how fun….
and side note – not the place to rant about the way our country looks at cancer – but part of the problem is all this awareness is only about early detection and then chemicals to treat it when we should be talking about sugar, carcinogens, stress and health, and mercury in flu shots – prevention and whatnot — sorry –
back to the images – that lady’s shirt really did pop out in the green nature – nice mood there too
I hear ya! I keep thinking there are already much better and less intrusive treatment but pharmacies and many doctors are in cahoots when it comes to chemo. But your preventive methods are the best!
🙂
but who knows all that is involved so we do our best with what we can when we can – right
So true!
I love the pink water. Very pretty.
Have a fabulous weekend. ♥
Thanks, Sandee! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend, too! 😻

Thanks, Isadora. I thought it was a pretty and unique tribute!
Wonderful! 🙂 🙂 There’s definitely a hint of ‘died and gone to heaven’ in that last shot.
Oh, thank you so much, Jo! I appreciate that! 😀
Exactly what Jo says. That last shot is extraordinary.

I’m not sure I’d touch the pink water but it’s for a great cause. A lovely selection of photos. I’m still hearing “that theme”.

Phew that’s what i thought about the pink water too!!
Heehee! Maybe I should have stuck my hand in the water to see if I would come out pink, too! 😉😁

Aw, thanks, my friend! I hope you’re doing well. Do you have any snow yet? ❄️☃️
not yet!!! I like the snow so I hope we do eventually!! But it’s mostly rain rain and more rain on the coast!
Hmm. Weren’t you needing rain not that long ago? Anyway, I hope you only get what you need and that your snow will arrive soon for you! 😻
