I think of Florida and I think of palm trees. Good to see something else.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Where we were in Central FL, they seemed to be evenly disbursed! LOL! Besides, when I think of Southern Cali, I think of palm trees! 😆
“Palm trees were fanned by a warm, light breeze, and they rolled down their windows to smell the sea.”
How beautifully descriptive that is! Love it! 😀
That is really beautiful
😀
how wonderful that tree
lets in so much light, Linda 🙂
And shade in the summer! Have a beautiful day! 😎
Beautiful.
Thank you, rabirius! Have a wonderful day! 😻
Lovely. I like the way the limbs grow as they feel free in various directions. This seems to be a sycamore tree.
I didn’t know what kind of tree it might be. Thanks for letting me know! I like the way the limbs grow, too! 😀
Hopefully I’m correct. I’ve seen a few of them in North Florida before. 🙂
It does resemble a crepe myrtle as well, especially an older one. I looked at one of my crepe myrtle’s this morning to compare – although it has leaves on it. I agree with you – either one will work.
The branches have a light radiating vibe – so nice
And I was thinking a crepe myrtle variety but just read sycamore and so we will go with that
Thanks, Y! Since I haven’t got a clue what kind of tree it is, I’ll go with either one! 😀
Well I am curious and I hope Jude comes by – she’d know – or forest garden blogger might.

Anyhow – I love when you whip out central
Florida photos – a piece of my past too-
☀️🌴🌳🌲
I seem to still have so many Florida pictures so I’m sure I’ll pull some more! 😁😻
Not surprised you have a lot because you were there for a long time – 😉
Yep. Longer than I’ve lived anywhere. Only it was just the last few years I started taking pictures — once I got my iPhone! 😎
Ahhhhh – yes – and these phone cameras are nice !
Love em! Wishing the same for you! 🙏😁
And wishing you a wonderful week ahead 🙏😊🌸🌺
Florida seems to have more than its fair share of interesting trees. This kind of looks like the one from the Harry Potter movies.
Florida does have its fair share of fun things but nothing like your historical European cities! Or maybe just different! 😁
Beautiful!❤️
Thanks so much! 😀 ❤
The tree looks as if with all its branches it is weaving a long and beautiful story.
Such a beautiful description, Sue! Love it! 😍
I’m from Florida but don’t recognize this once. I’m guessing central or northern part of the state.😊
Taken in Winter Garden just west of Orlando! Central Florida. 😁
Love that area rarely find this type of tree in South Florida. I wonder if it’s a live oak .
I don’t know my trees at all other than I like them! Someone suggested it might be a crepe myrtle. I can neither confirm nor deny! 😂
Where’s the flowers? Most are blooming now.
