Happy Thanksgiving Linda – hope you are having a wonderful day!
Thanks, Joanne! It’s a beautiful day! I’m wishing the same for you and yours! 😀
Thank you. Canada celebrates their Thanksgiving the second Monday of October. This year we celebrated twice – on Thanksgiving (well, two days earlier so we could have leftovers all weekend) with just the children and I, then again when my husband came home on R&R a week later. Life is good!💗
Well, belated wishes for your happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Sounds like you had a great time. When you say your hubby was on R&R, is he in the military?
Oh no, hubby is an Australian who works in Manitoba for an American construction firm. His rotation is he’s away 21 days, home 8 days. Sounds gruesome but it works for us!
Wow, Joanne! That sounds tough to me, but I’m happy it works for you guys! 😀
Last year we did six months apart when he was working back in Australia hence this rotation is easy!😁
Same to you dear friend! 😀
Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving too!
Thanks so much, Meg! Wishing you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving! 😀
I hope your day was wonderful, Ellen! Thanks for your blogging friendship! 😀
Thanks. I hope you had a wonderful day spent with your family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks so much, Lignum! I hope your travels are going well! 😀
I’ve been home for a while. Generally I don’t blog when I’m on holidays. It doesn’t make sense to me to spend all that money to go somewhere, then spend your time on the internet. 🙂
That makes perfect sense and is the smart thing to do. I mean, besides wasting fun trip time, why let anyone know you’re away from home? 😀
Thk u 😘🥀happy thanksgiving to you and your family gb

the song is so beautiful, Linda.
so clean and fresh (I do not listen to songs like this all the time – so it was fresh…) and so nice for thanksgiving.
Thanks, Yvette! I love this song and love sharing it! I hope you’ve had a beautiful weekend! 😀 ❤
🙂 – yes – very restful weekend – with thanksgiving being on the 23rd (as opposed to the 25th like some years) I feel as if there is a lot of month left – ya know?
I do know. And I’m glad cause I’m battling an upper respiratory cold. Sigh…. It can’t be gone soon enough and I’d like it gone before the end of the month! HA! 😆
well I hope it is gone before the end of the month.
and I was just reminding someone else about the power of honey – not sure if it will help your resp. stuff- but I used some honey on the way to Baltimore and it was sooooo helpful. Let is sit on my throat (for part of the drive) and I was renewed.
Love that honey! I always keep a jar of local honey around! Thanks! 😀
yeah, I heard local is better for us…
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
