I think #s 1 and 3 are amazing and beautiful. I am totally curious about #2. Strangest use of a car I have ever seen. Hugs, Janet
Thanks, Janet! It seem almost a shame to waste that wonderful car! It was in a little shop in Old Town in Kissimmee, FL! 😀
I used to be better at car-grille identification (though not great). I dunno . . . Dodge Dart or a Chevy (from the little chrome fins on the hood)? Totally stabbing in the dark here. Let us know, if you know, Linda.
It was a Chevy Impala — I think 1963!
All three are quite nice, Linda. But in my nonexpert opinion, I’d probably choose the 3rd photograph for the multitude of textures and shades. It’s a tough choice!
Thanks so much, Leigh! Hope you’ve had a good summer! I can’t believe it’s on the way out! 😀
I didn’t think of garden layers, so that’s a great idea for this challenge. My favorite, however, is the picture of the car. Love all that stuff!
Thanks, Rusha! That car was most unusual and I saw so many layers in that picture, from the floor up! LOL!
Beautiful flowers and that amazing car
Thanks, Sis! I feel sure you’ve been to every one of these locations! 😀
Beautiful layer captures of the flowers and colors, Linda!
The car is very special. 🙂
Thanks so much, Amy. Still using my “ancient” iPhone5! LOL! I wouldn’t have minded having a ’63 turquoise convertible Impala! Seems almost a waste but definitely a conversation piece! 😀
iPhone gives us the convenience to take photos anywhere. 🙂
So true! It’s so convenient I’ve decided not to invest in a “real” bulky camera! LOL!
after some squinting
those layers became
inviting cakes 🙂
What a wonderfully lyrical way to express it, David! Thank you so much! 😀

Always love the diversity of your choices Linda. My top pick is the last one which makes me want to reach in and touch the textures of those beauties.
Thanks, Sue! So happy that you enjoy my choices! 😀
Lovely pics Linda although for some strange reason I can’t see the car or am I pulling the plug on a joke?
Thanks, Dahlia. I think I did something to accidentally delete it (I had two pics in my media file and deleted one — obviously, the wrong one). I didn’t realize it because I could still see the car in my preview. Hmmm. I do hope I’ve fixed it now. Please let me know (if you get a chance) whether you can see it or not.
Oh yes now I can see the car, thanks so much for it is definitely worth seeing – so cool and innovative! 😀
Wonderful gallery Linda! I like the layers 🙂
