This week the topic is Fire Trucks, Fire Houses, Fire Hydrants. Basically anything to do with putting fires out. These were all taken with my iPhone5.
Our little rural hydrant just across the lane from our house. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a skinny little hydrant. Let’s hope we never need it. But, should we ever need it, let’s hope this little guy is surprisingly stout!
Took this one from our backyard in Winter Garden some time ago. Not sure what they were doing as I could not spot any smoke or fires in the area (thank goodness!)
Old fire truck on display in downtown Winter Garden.
Marvelous photos for this week. Thanks for playing. 😀
Thanks, Cee! My pleasure! 😁
Year ago, after a pipe repair/replacement, a fire hydrant was left on the curb… neighbors snatched it and set it up in their back yard…. their dogs were envied by all others…
What a fun find! I’m sure those dogs were the envy of the neighborhood! 😆
Great photos!
I love fire trucks and hydrants 😀
Ciao
Sid
Hi Sid! I think they’re cool, too! Especially the cool firemen! 😉 🚒👨🚒
I have never seen a skinny hydrant 🙂
Me neither! Hubby said it’s skinny so the dogs would miss! 😛
That looks like a fire hydrant in training. 🙂
Heehee! Maybe that explains it. I just hope if it’s ever needed to be put to use in our neighborhood that it’s finally all grown up! 😆
Love it, Linda. The old cars and trucks are a hit here during the St. Patty’s Day parades!!
I think cities and towns everywhere have an oldie goldie kept around for parades and shows. I’m so glad! 😀
They’re great to see.
Fire trucks tick. Fire houses tick. Fire hydrants tick. But where’s the dog??? 🙂
That’s a very good question! Hubby said this hydrant is skinny so the dogs can miss! 😛 Bwahahaha! 😆
Love the old fire engine! Have a great week!
Aren’t they great! Thanks for your visit and comment! Have a wonderful weekend! 😻
Love your brilliant red collection! 🙂
Thanks, Dahlia, for your visit and comment! 😀
My pleasure Linda😊
love to see old and forgotten valuables 🙂
Me, too! They’re too often just discarded and forgotten! 🙂
yeah that’s true
Your fire hydrant is so skinny. Our here where I live are short and fat. 😀 Wonderful entry Linda 😀
Thanks, Cee! I’ve only ever seen the ordinary short, fat ones, too! But, as long as it works if needed, I’m okay with it! LOL! 😆
I think that might be the skinniest fire hydrant I have ever seen. 😉
I had never seen one like it before! As long as it works if needed, I suppose it’s okay! 😀
Definitely okay! I have seen so many lately painted to be minions. Haha.
Now that would just be too cute! 😂👍
It really is!
