Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge

I thought I’d post some “Which Way” photos for Cee’s challenge this week.

Driving through Atlanta during a storm and just as 5:00 pm weekday traffic is beginning is a nightmare unto itself!

Brasstown Bald, GA, rising 4,784 feet above sea level, is Georgia’s tallest mountain. Its incredible 360 degree view allows you to see Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina on a clear day.

But, as you can see, the day we chose to visit was not the best. We reached the lookout just in time to literally watch the clouds/fog roll in at a very rapid pace. I didn’t even bother with checking out looking West! And, yes, we will go back for another try!

Hope you get to see the view next time, Linda. 🙂

I adore the directional signs. From all that fog, you need to know which way you are looking.

That’s happened to me, too. Drive for hours just to see fog at the lookout. Nothing you can do but hope the next time is better; if there is a next time. 🙂

  4. Great choices,Linda. I’ve driven in that traffic … nightmare. Hopefully, you can enjoy the view one day soon.

So disappointing to get to a viewpoint without a view. May the days ahead be sunny and clear.

  6. oh no, but we get lots of that here on the coast too!! I take it you found your way home!!? 🙂

    • Heehee — they’re older photos. I took them when we were up here at the end of Nov. 2015. We only had a week to find a house because our FL house had just sold! So, we’ll be going back to Brasstown Bald as it’s only about 1/2 or so from here! 🙂

Well, I am still curious about the West. That’s the direction I am taking 🙂
