Paula at Lost in Translation hosts the Black & White Sunday. This week’s theme is THROUGH. Below we have Charlie looking through the window at the elusive squirrel below.
He he – this is a brilliant interpretation and I like it a lot. I have discovered I like cats after all at least as a subject to photograph. Your Charlie is a very handsome fellow. Make sure to tell him that. The capture is terrific!
Thanks, Paula! They are amazing creatures. I never owned a cat when I was young but since obtaining the first ones, I’m smitten! I’ll let Charlie know but he’s already pretty sure of himself! LOL! 😆
This is a beautiful photo. Light, shadows, leading lines, texture – it’s all there. Actually, this would make a great location for a human portrait too.
Wow, thanks, Lignum! I really appreciate that high praise from someone who knows! For me, it was just trying to get my phone to snap before Charlie had a clue and took off running! LOL! 😆 I got lucky with this one, indeed!
Great photo, Charlie is a cutie.
Thanks! He is that! He had a tough beginning when we found him with his brothers but he’s a li’l rascal now!
[…] Love that picture, Paula! It has such depth and beauty! Here is my contribution: https://livingwithmyancestors.wordpress.com/2017/04/02/black-white-sunday-through/ […]

You’re very welcome. You got the shot and that’s all that matters.
Love the focused look on his face!!Great B&W!!
Thanks so much, Kirt! He’s an intense little guy! LOL! 🙂
That is a lovely shot Linda! The details on your cat are so crisp. I love it!
Thanks so much, Amberly! 😀
Beautiful! ❤
Aw, thanks so much! 😻
Elusive is the word! Those vishus squirls never get close enough for us to swat! Grrrr
It’s a plot! They know just what they’re doing! 😆
Love this one. I used to have a Charlie tabby — looks just like him. Great capture — you can feel your Charlie yearning to go outside
Thanks! He’s a sweety! Almost lost him to urethra blockage when he was a kitten but he pulled through! 😀
oh wow! That must have been scarey. Glad to hear he pulled through.
Two weeks and several thousand dollars! But I’d do it again. Sadly we didn’t save his brother, Moxie 😿
