I love all these, Linda, but probably the violin the best. I’m thinking it’s just the perspective (maybe), but that violin looks enormous. Must be heavy (in addition to being gorgeous)! Great ‘captures’!
Things are good here. But, I wonder…is one ever really settled in? LOL! We keep changing things around. We are still keeping our eyes and ears open for a single level with a basement. But no rush. We both think all these stairs need to go sooner or later (preferably sooner)! π
Believe it or not, Paula, they were in the front yard of the house a couple doors down from us — while we were still in Florida. Hubby and I were just walking around the neighborhood and there they were. Definitely a surprise! I’m still not sure why they were in their yard cause we didn’t see anything!
so does that mean you did not buy the violin (when you say you lost?) -a nd cool Virginia plate – was that on a car? It reminds me of a motorcycle for some reason…
Yep! I lost the argument with myself. Couldn’t justify spending that amount of money on something I couldn’t use or even have a place to display! The plate was on a car and I can’t even remember what kind of car now. The Indian emblem behind the plate makes me think of those old Indian brand motorcycles!
That violin is so cool. And I really like the 1949 VA license plate. I was born in 1949, and I live in VA. We see vultures around here all the time as well.
They have certainly decorated this violin beautifully. I would think that now it could only be used as decoration. Thanks for your visit and comment! π
I really like the violin… Thanks. π
I loved it and my brain kept trying to figure out how I could justify buying it. I lost π It was beautiful! βΊοΈ
vivacious
Why, thank you very much! π
V is challenging. Wonderful selection, Linda. π
Thanks, Amy! π
Love that encrusted violin! Wow!
Isn’t it amazing! I love it! π

Thanks, Leigh. It’s probably my angle. That and all the mosaics on it! It was beautiful!
That is an amazing violin. V is for very decorative! π
I agree with you 100%! π
What a beautiful violin!
It was magnificent! π
Linda you did a great job with the letter V
Thanks, sis! π
Very Versatile Views. I’m guessing that violin would be very heavy. I wonder if all the adornments affect its sound?
Love it! I wish now I had taken more time to ask questions. I’m thinking it would be more for decoration.
A great selection I’d say!
Thanks, Johanna! Hope all is well with you and yours! π
It is! And I hope the same to you? all settled in now? Takes a while, right?

Where did you find these vultures? Amazing π

Somehow I am glad you moved π
You and me, too! π
We seem to have a lt of vultures about lately, I don’t know why. I have to agree with everyone – that violin is most unusual.. c
Thanks, Cecilia! Loving your farm stories. I hope the little piggies get okay. Sorry about the delayed response. I’m running about a week behind! π
What a perfecty creative collection!
Thanks so much, Cindy! Hope all is well!

thanks for the reply. and that is exactly why i asked – my dad used to love the Indian Motorcycles – π
and isn;t the word “vultures” such a gritty word – nice take on V kinda – xoxo
I meant Linda – not kinda – ha!
Whew! That’s a relief! HAHAHA!
ha!
It has such a negative connotation! But buzzards didn’t fit the challenge! LOL! π
π
That’s a remarkable violin!
It was so beautiful — and at a flea market. I do wish I would have at least asked some questions about it. Sigh…. π
excellent and- I love that Violin!
Thanks! Me, too! π
very nicely done…V was not so hard, eh
Thanks, Badfish! Sometimes I surprise even me! π
Ha! those are the best of times!
Marvelous job with a really hard letter.
Thanks so much, Charlie! Hope all is well! π

Thanks, Janet! Hey, we’re the same age! But I’m a Buckeye, not VA! π I haven’t seen any vultures since we moved here to N. GA but I do see hawks!
Loving the post so much! Have a wonderful day:)

Vhat violin vis vibrant vand vivifying. π
Oh, Rommel, you make my heartstrings laugh! π
That is the most interesting guitar I’ve laid my eyes on. Worth more than the stated price, I’d say.
They have certainly decorated this violin beautifully. I would think that now it could only be used as decoration. Thanks for your visit and comment! π
Very nice! You were victorious on your voyage to find the letter V. π
Aw, thanks so much for your visit and your kind words! π
Love them all, especially the car one.
