This week’s topic is Doors or Drawers. Use your imagination if you want for this theme. Doors can include house doors, car doors, doll house doors, elevator doors, cabinet doors. Also any drawer works for this challenge as well. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge. Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.
Here are some doors taken with my iPhone5. No drawers in this post! Enjoy! 😀
i love the first door surrounded by stone –
Thanks! It’s the door to our storm shelter (previous owners built)! 😀
This is super!
I love Yellow Dog Eats I know where you took that picture
Can you believe we never ate there? 😛
How cool to have a storm shelter L!
And my favorite droid is the – open til 9ish! Ha!
But each had a different story to tell –
Thanks, Y! I certainly hope we never have to use it! It will definitely be cramped with 8 animals! LOL! I like that 9ish, too. It’s one of those places we always talked about going to but never quite got around to. Too bad cause I heard their food was quite good!
Well maybe on an visit sometime you could go – and nine animals would be tight – but all that love in there – the door would open and the hearts would pour out!
Aw, that’s a sweet sentiment – don’t think it’s reality with cats but a sweet sentiment! Bwahahaa! 😀
Ha!i mean meow 😺😻🙀😸😼😿😹😽😾
such beautiful doors and beautiful brick work too!
Thanks! I just love brick building and it started when I was little. Of course, they were much more prevalent back then, too! 😀
these doors offer
much potential
going through
them 🙂
We don’t often know what’s behind the doors we choose! 😀
Great variety Linda! A surprise with each one as I scrolled through.
Thanks, Sue! I appreciate the comment! Glad you enjoyed!
Excellent gallery, dear Linda… wishing you a beautiful wednesday… Aquileana 🙂
Thanks so much, Aquileana, for your kind words! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! 😄
Each one unique … Lovely Linda.
Thank you so much for your visit and sweet comment! 😀
Splendid set dear Linda! Each one opens to a wonderful world of art.The frame with the stones is gorgeous and so is the stained glass pane, but my favourite is the last one with the pointed arch which symbolises a prayer.Hugs my friend 🙂
Thank you, my friend! I, too, love those arched doorways! Glad you enjoyed! Have a wonderful weekend! 😀
The same to you, dear Linda 🙂 xxx
Great doors for this week’s theme. Thanks for playing. 😀
Thanks, Cee! My pleasure! 😀
Lovely doors. I wonder what’s behind the first one.
I can tell you that, Imelda! It’s the entrance to the storm shelter built by the previous owners! 😄
a great gallery- I like all of them!!
Thanks so much, Hannah! I hope you’re weekend is going well! 😀
Are the two brick building photos of the same building? The first photo is so interesting as the wall is beautiful and the door merely functional and unattractive. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
That’s a sharp eye you’ve got there, Janet! They’re both in a church in our old neighborhood! 😺
Nice selection and some very colourful doors. Thank you for not showing us your drawers. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I’m referring to the slang meaning of the word drawers. 🙂
Well, of course you are! LOL! 😜
Now you’ve gone and made me laugh out loud! You crazy guy! 🙀😂
🙂 🙂 🙂
Great collection!
Thanks so much! 😀
Very beautiful doors Linda! I love photos of doors and windows! I have taken quite a few over the years and plan to post them this summer. My most recent photo was taken a couple of weeks ago in a little town near by. Here’s a peek …
❤ carmen
Thanks, Carmen! Oh, I just love those doors you’ve taken! This challenge made me start paying more attention to doors! 😄
Beautiful door gallery! I like the second one especially! 🙂
It’s one of those tiny neighborhood places with a good rep for their food that I never quite got around to visiting! 😛
The first door looks like an entrance to a different world :))
Oh, now wouldn’t that be nice! Just every now and then, you understand! 😄

As you can see, I’m running a bit behind! But many thanks for featuring my post! I really appreciate it! 😄
You are welcome Linda. Good to see you more active again.
Excellent! The third and the last are to camp in front!
Thank you for dropping by and commenting! 😄
These are very interesting doors, Linda. Fab!

Love the varieties. Thinking about it now… Doors, with its sole, similar purpose for entering and exiting, can have so many varieties. What are those two circles on the first one?
Good eye! It’s the entry to a storm/tornado shelter that the previous owners built here. Those two circles are air vents (it’s also vented at the top) to allow circulation. Since it’s all concrete in the side of the hill, it stays nice and cool! 😀
Yellow Dog Eats is pretty amazing!
Wow, did you visit Gotha and eat there? I lived across the street for a couple of years when we first moved to Florida and when it was a neighborhood country general store. We kept saying we were going to eat there and never took the time. So, I guess now it would be a tourist thing if we make it back down there! HA!
