I’ve been following along with Becca’s Sunday Trees at “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” but never participated. I think it’s time! This is of a Laurel Fig taken with my iPhone5 at Leu Gardens in Winter Park, Florida some time before we moved!

Do you miss FL at all Linda? You seem so content in the new home!
To be honest, GP, not like I thought I would. There are aspects of it I miss, of course. And I definitely miss family and friends. Of course, come wintertime, I may temporarily once again sing another tune and wish I was there! LOL! But it’s so beautiful here. And the temps have been perfect. Unlike (I’m sure) where you are, we have yet to turn on our air conditioner! We just keep the windows open and run the ceiling fans. Marvelous! π β€
Yup – just as I thought – you’ve made me jealous!!
Well, that certainly was not my intent — bwahahaha! π
Absolutely love this pic of a most magnificent tree! We do not have these, I think, in WA state in the US. I, too, follow Becca’s photos of trees and love them. You are an excellent photographer. π
Thank you, Renee, for your visit and kind words. I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful week! π
Magnificent tree captures, Linda! Like the first one especially. π
Thanks, Amy! This was such an unusual tree. I’ve not seen one like it before or since! π

The same to you dear Linda π x β x β
I so love trees and these are wonderful! Yes, you might miss Florida come winter lol! I do love living on the green west coast rain forests though!
Thanks, Hannah! Trees are so beautiful! I just know that when fall begins to fade away later this year and the temperatures begin to drop, I can guarantee that I’ll be squawking and crying like a baby! LOL! But, for now, I’m loving this! I may not be in the rain forests — oh, wait, I live in a forest and it’s raining. So…. π Hugs to you!
π how wonderful that we both live in a forest!!
Hoping all is going well in your new place. These Florida Trees might make you a bit homesick.
I like the photos very well. These trees look quite large!
Things are great here, Nancy. Thanks! And probably until winter sets in again, there’s not much I miss about Florida except family and friends! π
What an amazing tree. So strong and powerful. I imagine nothing like this in your new spot?
It was amazing, Sue! And you’re right — I haven’t seen anything even remotely like this one! π
I’ve never seen one of these. Fascinating!
I had never seen one before or since. It’s an amazing tree! π
