Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Challenger’s Choice (Architecture)

It’s been a while since I’ve participated in one of Sally’s challenges. I’ve chosen architecture this time. I just love the look of these two buildings.  These structures are side-by-side in downtown Orlando. The tall structure is the CNL Tower I and the door shown is the entrance to the Orlando City Hall.

I worked here for a number of years. I always liked the linear aspects of this building.2014-01-27 CNL_Fotor

Right next door was the Orlando City Hall. It sits in between the two CNL Towers. I always liked the geometric patterns at the entrance. And if you look closely at the circle at the top middle, you can see the reflection of the Bohemian Hotel from across the street.

  1. Linda, first welcome back to the challenge’s photo community. That’s a stunning graphic design on the facade, and it must have been inspirational to work there. Nicely captured. Happy Photo Challenge.

I really like both of these. One of my husband’s photo groups that he belongs to had an architecture challenge last week. I’m thinking he should start a blog for his photography, but he probably doesn’t have time. I’m going to tell him to check our this post.

  3. Nice to have you back, Linda. I like both of these, but the designs in that second photo are beautiful.

Such great architecture Linda and you’ve captured it so well. Great lines indeed and just like you the geometric patterns definitely catches the eye. It’s gorgeous! 😀 ♥

    • Thanks, Sonel! So glad to see you again! Hope all is well with you and yours. I wanted to tell you how I just love your pictures of the Vervet Monkeys! They look so sweet and then those teeth are definite reminders that they are wild animals and not pets! 😀

I am very glad to hear that Linda. All is well here thanks. I just have ‘those days’ where I either can’t concentrate and some days I just Simba too much to do anything else. Guess it will go better some time. 🙂

I am so glad you liked them. They do keep me busy some days and I would just sit outside with them and watch them play. They are totally adorable. 😀

That is a fact and very true. 😀

        • I know what you mean about missing our little pets. When my Poodle and Yorki-Poo passed away quite a few years ago, I swore I’d never be able to have another. But I found I couldn’t stand the silence of no pitter-patter of little paws. I had to bring in another. The new ones never replace the ones gone but they do expand the heart and help ease some of the pain. I wish you well.

Yes, it’s always hard Linda and I am sorry about your babies that left as well. I really yearn for another as my arms feel so empty and maybe one day. For now we have Russel, who bonded with oldest son and he really keeps us busy. ADHD is nothing compared to him. LOL!

Thanks for the words of comfort. You are so sweet. ♥

You worked at the Orlando City Hall? It’s a beautiful design and well captured too.

    • Ah, welcome back, my friend. You have been missed. But not to worry. Sometimes we just need to take some time and regroup. I just realized I had not posted for at least a month! I appreciate your comment. I had posted this building before some time ago. I try not to do that but I actually had forgotten! HA! Anyway, I’m happy to see you again and wish you well! 😀 ❤
