You might recognize this little guy. I used his picture as a backdrop for a quote I posted for Nurturing Thursday a couple of weeks ago. He’s very shy but he now waits patiently almost every morning for me to bring him his breakfast. He still doesn’t let me get near him. I’ve tried just standing by my front door to photograph him up close but he won’t come up on the wall if I remain outside. It’s so adorable the way he just peeks over the edge of the wall to make sure I’m “gone” before jumping up to eat. The second photo and the video were taken while I was inside my house so the quality is not the best. All were taken with my iPhone5.
I am greeted with this adorable face almost every morning!
And every morning, it’s the same routine. I’m required to leave the area and he makes sure I’m gone by peeking over the wall.
Then when the coast is clear (he can’t see me anymore), it’s time to eat!

I think all stray cats are a big shy at first. Give him some time and before you know it you will be petting him.
Yep, that’s how I ended up bringing in my seven. He’s a bit older than my inside kitties were when I started, though. He doesn’t run as far as he used to now when I go out to give him his breakfast! 😀

It took me about ten days to finally capture those little eyes! Usually by the time I’d get in the house and could take the shot, he was already up there! 😀

yes, but not too cold – but the shot that had the arrow to show where the cat peeks is the one that had that Florida feel – the green – and the tree and the bricks – just reminded me of a friend’s place on the space coast.

There was certainly a time. But now that we’re trying to sell our house and hubby has developed cat allergies, we can’t bring in anymore. I have several more outside I feed like this one (younger and they let me pet and pick them up), so if you know of anyone available to offer a forever home…. 😀 ❤

I love doing it. Now, if I could just find them all a forever home, I’d be happy. I worry about them running around on their own. That’s why I’ve taken so many in. But I also have to be reasonable… right?! Of course, my friends and family think I passed reasonable about five cats ago! 😆

I was never around cats when I was growing up. My dad was strictly a dog person! Then about 13 years ago I came into possession of three kittens needing to be bottle fed. The rest, as they say, is history! HA! Give your little babies a big hug for me! 😀
