You might recognize this little guy. I used his picture as a backdrop for a quote I posted for Nurturing Thursday a couple of weeks ago. He’s very shy but he now waits patiently almost every morning for me to bring him his breakfast. He still doesn’t let me get near him. I’ve tried just standing by my front door to photograph him up close but he won’t come up on the wall if I remain outside. It’s so adorable the way he just peeks over the edge of the wall to make sure I’m “gone” before jumping up to eat. The second photo and the video were taken while I was inside my house so the quality is not the best. All were taken with my iPhone5.
I am greeted with this adorable face almost every morning!
And every morning, it’s the same routine. I’m required to leave the area and he makes sure I’m gone by peeking over the wall.
Then when the coast is clear (he can’t see me anymore), it’s time to eat!
I think all stray cats are a big shy at first. Give him some time and before you know it you will be petting him.
Yep, that’s how I ended up bringing in my seven. He’s a bit older than my inside kitties were when I started, though. He doesn’t run as far as he used to now when I go out to give him his breakfast! 😀
Aw that’s adorable! Great capture by photo!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving that sweet comment! 😀
Such a cute lovable one.
I bet given half a chance he could be a real cuddler! 😀
Love that capture of him “peaking’ over the wall checking on your whereabouts – what a sweet-pea! 🙂
It took me about ten days to finally capture those little eyes! Usually by the time I’d get in the house and could take the shot, he was already up there! 😀
Challenge accepted – well done for persevering! 🙂

Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a nice comment! 😀
What a face. Too cute.
He really is too cute! 😀
you really are the pet whisperer my friend – and the rich Florida feel to your photos was nice this morning :0
That could be good; that could be bad! HA! Oh, dear, are you starting to get the cold temperatures already? 😀
yes, but not too cold – but the shot that had the arrow to show where the cat peeks is the one that had that Florida feel – the green – and the tree and the bricks – just reminded me of a friend’s place on the space coast.
BTW – I have an email started for you – since summer lol- and will finish it very soon – looking forward to touching base amiga – have a nice day!
Definitely feels like Florida — in the 90s! I’ll be looking for your email. Don’t rush. I’ve been such a bad girl — too much cookies and ice cream! 😆
Well u r doing so many things right (obviously) and so we do what we can – right?
Happy Sunday #selfies!!

Thanks, all! Happy Sunday Selfies to you, too! 😀
What a precious kitty. The photo of him peeking over the wall is so adorable. We know he appreciates your caring for him, and we hope he will eventually allow you to get closer. Thanks for sharing him on our hop. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Welcome, welcome, Purrince Siddhartha Henry of Thee Purrfect Pad on Werdpress! Oh, that Hercule Purr-O is another cute name! Yes, I’m a fan! So, Aunty Nylablue knows just what it’s like! Come back and visit anytime! 😀
Loved the wall photo, that is so cute…The strongest statement about any human being is how they treat those who need help, those who may never be able to repay that kindness.
Thanks, Charlie! I love seeing that little peek-a-boo in the mornings! 😀
Bless you and your sweet kind heart.
Thank you so much! I tried to leave a comment about your beautiful gray Other Kitty but for some reason, Blogger wouldn’t let me.
He is a cute fellow, Linda, but watch out…before you know he will be lying next to you in your bed 😀 Pawkisses for a great week ahead 🙂 ❤
There was certainly a time. But now that we’re trying to sell our house and hubby has developed cat allergies, we can’t bring in anymore. I have several more outside I feed like this one (younger and they let me pet and pick them up), so if you know of anyone available to offer a forever home…. 😀 ❤
My morning giggle was cute little kitty peeking over the wall! THANK YOU for my morning giggle! You will soon be petting this little cutie!
I’m glad I could share that morning giggle with you. I get that giggle every morning and I’m totally smitten. Every morning I try to coax him to come to me but he just sits there and waits. Ah, well, maybe one day.
One day, someday is not too far away!
ow kind you are to provide the hungry loveleis with food and shelter! xo Johanna
I love doing it. Now, if I could just find them all a forever home, I’d be happy. I worry about them running around on their own. That’s why I’ve taken so many in. But I also have to be reasonable… right?! Of course, my friends and family think I passed reasonable about five cats ago! 😆
I’m a sucker for those big cheeks! Here’s hoping he’ll let you get closer in the near future. That guy might need to head in for a session with the “tutor!”
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Hi, Jean! I know, I just want to “pinch” those cheeks! I just visited your beautiful Maggie but I’m not sure if my comment took! Happy Monday! 😀
So cute! Ooh… the video! 🙂
Thanks, Amy! It took so many tries to capture (on camera) that little guy. Now, if I can just capture him to get to the vet! HA! 😀
oh priceless peeking in the second!! a great character!!
He is definitely adorable! 😀
Excellent shots…. I love your cats, dear Linda… I have two at home, they are amazing animals, so clever, don´t you think… Sending love. Aquileana ★⭐
I was never around cats when I was growing up. My dad was strictly a dog person! Then about 13 years ago I came into possession of three kittens needing to be bottle fed. The rest, as they say, is history! HA! Give your little babies a big hug for me! 😀
I will… for sure, hugs for yours and to you. Aquileana ★ ⭐ ★
He is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing, Linda 🌺
Thanks, Michelle! I’m looking to the day that I actually can pet that little head! 😀
