The third Monday at Lens and Pens by Sally is black and white. I had my car into the dealership a few weeks ago for some work and this statue was in a corner of the waiting area. It was taken with my iPhone5.
Then I took a few liberties with pho.to editing!
Then I really had some fun and made this gif. Trouble is, I couldn’t get it to load as a gif on WP. Oh, well, you get the idea.
How fun! I love the different apps on the cell phone! Great pictures!
Thanks, Nancy! I appreciate your comment! 😀
Looking good, Linda! I always feel that B/W increases the character of the subject and your apps seems to intensify that.
Thanks bunches, GP! 😀
Oh the last one is magical!
I’m so glad you like it. I admit, though, I thought it was a bit more fun when the water rippled. Ah, well, I’m not so tecchie as I couldn’t figure out how to get a .gif to work on here! 😀 😛
Linda, your experiment with gif may not have worked, but the image is the reward. It’s really engaging. Happy Photo Challenge.
Thanks, Sally! I had fun with this! 😀

great job sis
Thanks, darlin! It was fun! 😀
What fun to put the drops on it! And that reflection is really cool.

Thanks, Janet! 😀
WOW! We love the statue and how you put magic into it 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤
Aw, so glad you like it! Thank you so much! Hugs! 😀 ❤
Great pics and a very imaginative use of your time at the dealership!
Thanks, Sue! It’s always so boring but at least they serve us lunch, snacks, and beverages! Of course, they should at those prices! HA! 😛
love it!! Rippling wings of victory!! I wonder why you can’t upload it as a gif!
Thanks! Couldn’t upload it as a .gif because it didn’t happen when I loaded it like normal and I have no one here who can instruct me and I don’t have the patience to figure it out! LOL! 😆
mine come up ok! But I upload them to photobucket and then embed. It may be that we have not paid for that service on WP lol!
Maybe I need to save it somewhere besides my computer like my .jpgs. I don’t think I’ve used photobucket for years — ever since AOL Journals was around! 😀
are you using photoshop to make the gifs. I found you have to save it to the web and then check the loop box. Hope that helps!!
I’ve never used photoshop. I think I used Fotor. I probably just saved it incorrectly or something. It’s called “operator error!” 😀
ps: I lied!! I have done it just uploading- not sure why yours doesn’t!!
Pure Art in mono, great theme efficiently displayed! The last photo is amazingly manipulated, dear Linda! The wavy reflections of the imposing statue have such a gorgeous visual impact!Hugs to you my lovely one 🙂 xoxox
Thank you, dear Doda! I think that one turned out to be my favorite, too! Hugs right back at ya! 😀
Excellent … one of my favourite sculptures ever… Best wishes, dear Linda. Aquileana 😀
Thank you, Aquileana. I recognized it but I still haven’t come up with the name! If you know it, perhaps you could tell me! 😀
Beautiful sculpture…and such a delight with your editing skills. Thank you.
Thanks, JoHanna! I appreciate your visit and comment! 😀
Oh it was my pleasure. Looking forward to your time spent on your delightful website.
Now you know where all the profits from your car purchase goes to. It’s an interesting statue. I assume the water is supposed to be rippling?
HaHa! And here I sit at the dealership again getting ready for our big move! Yep, the water was rippling until I posted it!
