The 4th Monday of the month is Challenger’s Choice at Lens and Pens by Sally.
I took this picture of Orlando City Hall a while back. I just liked the design of the door and windows. I didn’t realize until later that the reflection of the Grand Bohemian Hotel across the street showed up in the small window above the door!
Isn’t it fun when you see something after you have taken a photo you didn’t know was there? Love the reflection.
Thanks, Sue! I do love surprises! π
Wondrous architectural photos, nice iron work with gorgeous neo-classical patterns! The reflection of the Grand Bohemian Hotel looks like an inserted photo!Great work dear Linda π xxx
Thank you, dear Doda! I always look forward to and appreciate your comments! π
I adore the various interpretations across the world of doors and entranceways. This one is architecturally intriguing and the reflection is a bonus. Well done. Happy Photo Challenge.
Thanks, Sally. You know, I worked next door to this building for five years and never paid any attention. It was after I stopped working and went downtown one weekend that I noticed them. Sometimes you can see something so often it just disappears! π

This all works so well together and getting a surprise reflection is just the frosting on the cake.

Thanks, Hanna! Happy upcoming weekend! π
and to you Linda!! ( a bit late I know!)
Giant doors? There must be some tall people in your area. π
The reflection is nice touch – and well positioned too.
Well, it is City Hall, after all! π I’m sure some of them (politicians) do think they’re “taller” than most! HA! Thanks, Lignum! π
I agree with you Linda. It’s a beautiful design and you’ve captured it so well too. Love the reflection. π β₯
