Oh, poor Tippi! What a week you’ve had. Poor baby. Mommy found an abscess on your tail and you wouldn’t stop licking it and making it worse. So, you’ve had your first experience “locked” up.
Hey, Tippi, I tried to tell you to just leave it alone and now there’s nothing I can do to help you. I may be your sister but you’re going to have to do the time.
An update: ย I am pleased to announce that as of this posting, Tippiย is free of her collar and her tail is healing nicely!
Poor guy – they must be so confused wearing those things!!
When I first put it on her, she didn’t know what to do. She walked funny, walked into things. I was a horrible person laughing! ๐
I can’t see how she eats!!
I definitely monitored to make sure she could! ๐
Good news! Tippi didn’t look happy at all wearing that funnel.
She did adjust for the most part — better than I did! ๐
I love the pic with Maggie in!
Me, too. I was glad I was able to catch it! Thanks! ๐
Thank Cat Tippi doesn’t have to wear that lamp anymore ๐ Great Selfie anyway ๐ Pawkisses for a Sunny Sunday ๐ โค
Thanks, much! Tippi is as happy about it as I am! HA! ๐ โค
So glad Tippi has been released from the cone!
You, me and Tippi, too! ๐
glad to hear Tippi is on the mend!
Thanks, it’s quite a relief! ๐
Cute selfie, but it is no fun being a cone head. I am glad she is healing well.
Thanks so much! I’m sure she’s in complete agreement with you! ๐
Good news. My cousin’s Bichon Frise had to wear one after he kept picking at an injury on his toe. He really played up looking pitiful and had my attention during the entire time I was visiting her.
You can see him here http://wp.me/p36PY2-d3 I’m really happy for you and Tippi that the cone is gone.
sorry, that’s a photo of the collar. he had worn a cone after these photos were taken. I can’t find them right now.
Thanks, EmilyAnn! Hey, that’s an interesting collar on little Chewie. I like that it’s soft. Great for the little dogs! ๐
So glad to hear Tippi is free of her collar… It must not be comfortable.Beautiful capture, Linda!
Thanks, Amy! I think she adjusted but, then, that’s just the kind of little critter she is! ๐
๐
I do not know any animal that likes those things, but they do there job. Cute picture of the poor cat lol.
I know. I just rolled my eyes when the vet brought it out! But it worked! Thanks, Sonya! ๐
Poor Tippi to have to go through that discomfort, anxiety, and embarrassment! And probably pain. You should be ashamed of yourself, laughing at her, Linda! ๐ Aw . . . . I love cats. And I especially love black cats.
I know, right? She became an instant high stepper walking into walls….oh, stop, it still makes me chuckle. I must have a mean streak! But I did know that she wasn’t doing anything that would hurt her. ๐ By the way, if you want a black cat, I know where I can get you several! HA!
I volunteer at a local no kill shelter and we have lots of black kitties right now!
Well, I definitely wish you luck. I’ll never understand why people shy away from the black kitties. They’re sweet and they’re gorgeous! ๐
That last image is a classic. This invention to help animals heal is quite clever. When it first appeared, it brought laughter. Then I realized that the animal was humiliated as it was. But it is a blessing for the road to recovery. Happy Photo Challenge.
Thanks, Sally. It’s a great invention for the purpose. I still couldn’t help feeling guilty about making her wear it. But, then, it’s for the greater good! ๐ Happy Sunday!
Poor Tippi! Those collars are no fun. Glad it’s off now.
Thanks for dropping by! We’re all glad it’s off now! ๐
Hi Linda, glad to hear Tippi is fine, I can’t imagine how unpleasant is to have this thing on the neck.
Thanks, Elizabeth! I’m glad she doesn’t have to wear it anymore, too. I felt so bad for her! ๐
Oh happy to hear Tippi has been freed!
Thanks, Sue! ๐
Well, you have to be cruel to be kind.Glad things are on the mend.
Isn’t that just the truth! ๐
Hehehe you need the magic of Bunnies to get the cone of shame off,xx Speedy
Certainly could have used your help there, Speedy! ๐ ๐
so glad!! Poor tippi!!!
All better! I hope you’re well and starting a lovely week. ๐
poor baby!!
So true! ๐
Poor, poor Tippi – so glad it was a quick recovering and Maggie was there to support you (and to perhaps snicker a little behind her paw…)! ๐
I felt so bad for her knowing we were all laughing behind our hands/paws. But only because it wasn’t hurting her, of course! ๐
Of course! {snicker, snicker}
The sister is just jealous of the accessories. ๐
HA! That statement may be truer than we’ll ever know, Rommel! ๐
Poor Tippy, glad to hear that she is better now.
All the best ๐
XOXO Julia โค
Thanks, Julia! Have a wonderful week! ๐ โค
Poor Tippi indeed. If she could only understand people talk, she would know why this was needed.
We’re lucky it was Tippi. She’s pretty accepting of just about everything! ๐
That’s a great news, Linda ๐
Thanks, Paula! ๐
P.S: but it was a good look on her ๐
Heehee! She did look cute in spite of it! ๐
I confess! Mum could NEVER keep one of those on any of us. We cried and she cried – so you are VERY brave!!!
I think I mewed once but it echoed in my ears so I just kept quiet! It wasn’t too bad and Mom was a pushover! ๐
Did you see the look on Tippi’s face?! Like a Marine ready to pounce on his enemy!! โบ
That’s funny. And so not her! I think she was trying to see where her next step would be! LOL!

Poor Tippi! None of us have ever had to wear the cone of shame and we hope we never have to do so. Glad Tippi is better. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I hope none of you ever have to wear one. Course Mom was kind of a pushover and kept taking it off for breaks! I healed anyway! ๐
