These are great. I love the way the colours really “pop” in the first one, and when that is stripped out, the focus becomes the white of the flowers in the foreground. ๐
I am fascinated with the loss of the purple – just shocked me to see those tall beauties become so quiet in the B & W – and you really picks a nice shot for the L & P challenge – I looked a fourth time before commenting…
and I like how sue made the white pop more – because it sure does – but Linda – this photo also changes in dimension and depth wight he non color version – crazy cool ๐
Thanks, Bev! I can always count on you to let me know what I’m photographing! As usual, I had no clue — just thought they were pretty! HA! Hugs! ๐ โค
I have to go with the first one as I’m in a mostly white landscape these days (although it will likely be brown soon with a few days of warmer temperatures.) Lovely!
Linda, it’s not too bad–in the upper 30’s this weekend, although it will get a bit colder at the end of the week. If the wind doesn’t get going, we’re in good shape.
Both of these are so pretty..the colors are so brilliant in the first and the textures and contrasts are just as pretty in the second. I love the starry silhouettes of the little flowers in the foreground.
Beautiful flower arrangement in the first photo and gorgeous bright colours!Love the light of the second photo in mono!Gorgeous work for the challenge dear Linda ! Hugs & โค ,Doda xxx
As much as I like B&W photography, the colorful flowers are just what I needed to brighten a winter day. Wish spring were closer. That is a gorgeous photo. Hugs, Janet
loveliness!
