Each has its ability to keep me returning. The first for its almost abstract quality, and the second for the composition and that teeny tiny nail that peeks out. Really like the detail that you captured. Happy Photo Challenge.
I have been trying to capture paws and noses for several months now — haven’t gotten one just right yet … something to do with the lighting in the house, I reckon — but I will persevere. Wish I had thought to capture some of my earlier babies — but I do have several paw prints that were cast into ornaments before they were cremated — it is one of the services provided. It made me think “why didn’t I think of that before?”
Thanks, Becca. It kind of started as an “accident”. Inky (white paw) kept interrupting my work and was standing on the table beside my computer. I just liked the way her little paw looked and took the shot. I still have five more cats to try and get! As you know, it’s not easy! Now, noses. Good one! I hadn’t thought of that. We had our little Maltese cremated this summer and when her ashes were returned, our vet had given us a card suitable for framing with her perfect little paw print. I know what you mean about “why didn’t I think of that before?” 🙂
oh I want to put my nose on the paw!! I love cat fur!! I have our 20 year companion’s paw print on my bureau. She patiently put up with my moves several times and daughter moved out but cat decided to stay and keep me company!! We caught a mouse together- ( I released it in a field). She walked through the garden with me and waited at the window for me to come home. It was so hard at last to say goodbye but she looked up at me gratefully and put her head on my hand!! Sorry to go on. Your photos brought up the memories!! Beautiful!!!
What lovely memories. I’m so glad that I had a part in bringing up happy memories for you. It’s so hard to let these little companions go. We have them for such a short time in our lives and they have such a major impact. It’s a good thing they continue living in our hearts! Hugs to you! 🙂 ❤ ❤
OM ! I touch them,I stroke them,they feel so real …

Aw, thanks so much, Doda! There’s just something so appealing about little cat’s paws isn’t there? That is, until the claws come out! HA! Hugs back at ya! Hope you’re having a marvelous weekend! 😀

Tried to leave a LIKE and it will not allow me to do it.

Oh, dear, I’m afraid you’ll have to explain to me what a blog button is. Yes, I’m that unschooled in this! 😉
