Could someone please explain to me just how I’m supposed to get any work done with that face and those eyes looking at me? Not to mention that she’s laying on my papers! When Inky wants attention, Inky gets attention!

These eyes! 🙂
Stab me in the heart! 😀
Haha they know how to manipulate a human 🙂
Answer: you’re not. Your work is doomed. 😉 Anybody would be powerless in the face of that much cuteness.
Oh, so true! So true, in fact, that I moved my work into another room where they can’t do that — even if they do try! 😆
Love all the hair in it’s ears. Reminds me of my own.
Okay, Pam, I know I shouldn’t do this, but… your ears or your cat’s? Bwahahaha! Shame on me! 😆
First real big belly laugh for the day. Not planning on answering your question, but … well … whatever enters your mind. [Still laughing.]
I’m cheating. Yep. I know. But I had to just say I have the same problem. It’s a miracle I get anything done. Tee hee …. Great shot, Linda. Love, Amy
Thanks, Amy! I know you can relate! 😀 Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. We’ve had rain the past two days….
Blue skies here for practically all of September! It’s been beautiful. We are finally having our summer now. Hope you are well and Happy in Heart!!! (((HUGS))) Amy
What soulful eyes! How can you resist his whims now? 🙂
That’s the problem — I can’t! 😆
You have quite a complement of cute kitties in your family, Linda. Inky is a darling!
Thanks, Leigh! We do have a few too many but whatcha gonna do?! 😀
you spoil her to much
Yep! 😀
What a sweetheart!
Thanks, Luanne! After all these years, she’s still kind of a shy one. 🙂
She looks like my Pear Blossom!
😀
Awwww, totally adorable and yes, why should you work is she is there to keep you company and want attention? LOL! Stunning shot Linda. You’ve captured her beautiful, soulful eyes perfectly! 😀
So it is, Sonel! Not much gets done around here by me! 😀 I’m definitely a pushover! LOL
I don’t blame you. heheheheh. Who can resist them?
Obviously not me! I gave up a long time ago! 😆
How absolutely adorable. Inky looks so loving. I love your photo, Linda and thank you for your lovely entry ❤
She is a sweetheart. She’s also the smallest of the seven! 😀
What a cutie pie!
Thanks much, Lady_K! I must agree with you! 😀
My goodness Linda, you have so many adorable photos of your cats…I am beginning to suspect you are dangling a fish above your camera! Have a lovely Sunday!
Haha! I hadn’t thought of that. But if I did that, they would never sit still! 😀 Happy Sunday to you! ❤
So adorable. 🙂
Thanks, Sylvia! Happy Sunday! 😀
yeah – pretty hard to work with those purdy eyes looking up!! 🙂 ❤
And she knows it, too! Hugs for a happy week! 😀
Jellicle cats come out tonight for the Jellicle moon and the jellicle ball!! Great photo!!
Heehee! Good one, Cybele! She is that! 😀
That’s a cat’s place! In the way…
And they have all mastered it so well! 😀
Oohhh, what a sweet face with soulful eyes! 😀 Inky is a beautiful girl!
Did I understand you have 7 or is it she was smallest of litter of 7? I have 7 as well plus 2 “pups”! Life is never dull — and amazing what accommodations and compromises I make for them. LOL
Thanks, Becca! Yep, we have seven cats, 5 of which are from the mama’s three litters (she’s one I’d like to catch!). And we have one Poodle as we lost our second dog, Emmy, this past July to cancer. Then you understand completely with your 7 and 2! LOL! We haven’t had a vacation in years since our housesitter (a friend’s daughter) grew up and went away to college and one of my cats became diabetic. I admit it — I’m totally nuts! 😆 Oh, and I almost forgot to answer your question. Inky is the smallest of the seven cats we now have!
I am sorry to hear about Emmy (my mom’s name) … it is difficult to have them leave us. I totally understand about the pet sitting situation — I share your “pain” … they are often hard to locate.
Would you share with me their names?
I would be happy to! Let’s see if I can remember them all! (just kidding) Pippin is the Poodle. Then my cats from oldest to youngest are Midge, Nicky, Inky, Freckles & Charley, and Tippi & Maggie. They’ve all been featured at one time or another on my blog and will certainly keep showing up! 😉
😀 Love those names — Especially Pippin, Inky and Freckles … Our canine matriarch, who passed away a couple of years ago was Tippy — she was black with a 6 inch white tipped tail.
Your dog, Tippy, sounds like similar markings as my cat, Tippi! My Tippi is black with a white chin and chest, four white paws and a long black tail with a white tip! What are your babies’ names?
[…] Living With My Ancestors wrote… My little Inky wanting attention (as usual)! […]
Linda, this is adorable how he is resting his head!
Thanks, Laurie! I’d better watch myself because right now she’s curled up in my lap (not making this typing very easy)! 😀
I think it’s time for a break…to cuddle your sweet adorable Inky 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂
I think you’re absolutely right! 😀
Oh dear,oh dear friend Linda ! What a sweet way to introduce those captivating eyes !!! Gorgeous post and amazing presentation ; I am so glad I met Inky as well 🙂 You and your lovely cats have my love ❤❤❤ as always 🙂 xxx
Thank you so much, dear Doda! Your comments always lift my spirits! Inky and the gang send their best wishes for a wonderful week! Big Hugs! 😀 ❤
