It’s only about a mile around so there’s no canoeing but they do have the paddle swans for rent. It’s a nice place to walk or jog (except for the past month or so when our heat index has been over 100!).
As I was just mentioning over on my blog regarding the terrible heat in so many spots in this world….we may have cold winters but we also can enjoy summer and not melt at mid day. 🙂
I want to rent a swan boat straight away!
This photo brings back memories of the art shows I did around Lake Eola. The view was perfect for me as I waited for customers. It’s a beautiful place as is your photo. Ver nice!!!
Ah, then you were either on vacation or you don’t live far! It is a nice little downtown park. I don’t get downtown much at all anymore since I retired! 😀
I have to travel to Orlando every year for a work conference so take a little side trip before the actual ‘work’ starts. Lake Eola and Thornton Park (??) are beautiful! I was there on Sunday so was able to enjoy the farmer’s market, too.
Beautiful photo!

Stunning ,This picture match for your sepia post Linda …Good Touch 🙂
Thanks, Jake! Much appreciated! 😀
Good choice for the sepia challenge Linda. Looks like a lovely spot to walk or do a little canoeing. Is that allowed?

I hope you will come and take photos 🙂
I’ll be sure to let you know if the day comes I can get up there! Course you’ll probably be off mountain climbing in Europe somewhere! 😆
We will have to synchronize our calendars. Fun to imagine our paths crossing one day. 🙂

Thanks, Mihrank! 😀
Love the sepia photo. Well done, Linda 🙂
Thanks, Amy! 😀
I love the sepia treatment- it gives it such a look of timelessness!
It gives photos such a vintage look — timeless like you say! 😀

Aw, shucks, you mean I missed you at the art shows? I used to work right across the street from Lake Eola!
I love Lake Eola! I was just there last month. Looks very pretty in sepia tones.
