Once a week Sue dips into her old English Oxford dictionary and picks a word on the page that it falls open at. The challenge is to post a photograph, poem, story – whatever the genre you like best to describe of what that word means to you. This week her word is ORANGE. Not being a fan of most orange shades, I was surprised to actually find some pictures for this challenge. I really surprised myself when I saw how many I had! Here is a small selection for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy!

Thank you, Gislinde! Blessings to you on this beautiful Sunday morning (I’m not sure what time it might be where you are)!
Ah….. Freckles is so adorable. 🙂
Thanks, Sylvia! I find I must agree with you! 😀
Seems like you had no problems finding orange as a matter of fact. I fun collection of orange photos.
Thank you, Otto, for visiting and commenting! I’m glad you enjoyed them! 😀
well, Linda, I love the color Orange! so beautiful pics;0) Love the robot, it reminds me when my own sons were in the robotics team in their highschool time, how creative and inventive those young people are. But of course…Freckles steals the show!
Well, I can at least honestly say that I don’t dislike all shades of orange! I am amazed at some of the things these bright young people come up with and I think it’s wonderful. And, by the way, Freckles says thanks! 😆

loved the variety again – and how clever -a frisbee tossing robot – and in orange – right on! have a nice day dear Linda. 🙂 ~y.
Thanks, Y! My photo challenge posts tend to reflect me — all over the place! 😆
The frisbee machine is interesting and whoasome! Is there really a frisbee machine, or his is the first?
Talented kids! I would imagine there are other frisbee throwing machines out there. I don’t know if any are made for commercial sale or if it’s more of a science project for the kids. Interesting question, though! 🙂

Hi Linda. Freckles now graces Everything Orange and Kitty Cats on my Pinterest pages. Freckles reminds me of the six-toed, orange kitty I once had named appropriately, Orangie. Loved that kitty.
That wasn’t the cat you had when we were both AZ is it? Now, I must go check out your Pinterest pages! 😀
Freckles, orange your the cutest thing!
I think so! 😎
Beautiful photos with the colour orange, dear Linda !!! Freckles’ portrait is so captivating and so is its stare !
The peppers are also very pleasantly displayed,we call them cowhorn peppers no matter if they are the ones from the decorative plant in the garden or the green cowhorn peppers which we use in fresh salads or we stuff them with cheddar cheese,or any other cheese and cook in the oven.
Sending love and hugs your way, Doda 🙂 xxx
Thanks, dear Doda! Mmm, your simple cheese-stuffed peppers sounds delicious! I may have to just break down and try it one of these days! Yummy! Many hugs to you! 😀
That Frisbee tossing robot would make a great Christmas gift for anyone…Thanks for sharing.
There are baseball and tennis ball throwing machines, so why not Frisbee throwing machines on the free market! 😆
