Once a week Sue dips into her old English Oxford dictionary and picks a word on the page that it falls open at. The challenge is to post a photograph, poem, story – whatever the genre you like best to describe of what that word means to you.
This is the old Orlando Utility Company building which sits in downtown Orlando, FL. It’s unoccupied now. I don’t know what the City’s intentions are, whether it will be used or demolished. I always thought it was a pretty cool building. They may salvage it because it is exactly next door to where they are building a huge performing arts center. I have no idea of the building’s age or who the designer is. It was there in 1994 when I started working in downtown Orlando! And quiz away, Rommel, I love it! 😀
I have to agree with you there. It’s definitely unique. I’m hoping since they didn’t tear it down for the performing arts center, they’re going to find a use for it.
Love the marbles Linda. I just want to plunge my hand in them. 🙂
I know what you mean! I was tempted to start buying a bunch and then I stopped myself. I have so much “stuff” and we’re trying to pare down! 😀
The marbles are so colorful! Love your selections, Linda!
Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂
Where’s the third one located at? What is it? Who designed it? And why am I being such an inquisitor!!!!???

It looks so cool for them to just discard it.
