Pussycat, Pussycat
I’ve got flowers
And lots of hours
To spend with you.
Pussycat, Pussycat
I love you
Yes, I do!
You and your pussycat nose!
Pussycat, Pussycat
You’re so thrilling
And I’m so willing
To care for you.
My first cat rescue. In fact, my first cat. She came with a brother and a sister. At the time (around 2001) I was enrolled in and studying to be a veterinary assistant. Being the oldest student, the instructor and I were closer in age and became friends. She was already bottle feeding kittens when someone dropped off three kittens on her porch that also needed to be bottle fed. I had never had a cat in my life! But I told her if my two little dogs would be okay with it, I would bottle feed these three. So, for the next three weeks, I bottle fed three kittens. And the rest, as they say, is history! Midge is the only one of the original three left. For the most part, she gets along with my other four rescues!

I believe animal rescue is one of the noblest things a person can do.
Yep, and these animals have rescued me more times than not! 😉
They have a habit of being great that way.
